This was a perfect, peaceful getaway! The views are amazing, the bed was super comfortable. Such a nice touch to leave a welcome basket. Everything was clean and comfortable. I look forward to coming back!

We loved staying at Andrew and Simone place! The view was amazing and I especially loved watching the sunrise every morning with a cup of coffee! Speaking of coffee, they even provided the coffee beans with their state of the art coffee maker! Everything was super clean, stocked and beautifully decorated! We would highly recommend it and would stay there again when in the Grand Marais area!

Spent the most peaceful couple days at Agua Norte! We loved the skylight for stargazing, took advantage of a morning sauna session, and especially enjoyed the short hiking loop through the property. The early morning sunrise views could not be beat from the cabin or the sauna. Thank you!!

My best friend and I absolutely loved our stay in Grand Marais!! Simone’s place is absolutely beautiful, secluded but not too far from town! The place was warm and cozy, very beautiful views of Lake Superior!! We’re lucky enough to have the amazing Northern Lights above us all night, it was the highlight of the trip! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

The cabin itself is thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean, with so much charm and all the modern comforts you could ask for. Large windows offered stunning views of the lake, . The interior was cozy and warm, with soft lighting, and comfy furniture,
One of the absolute highlights was the woodburning sauna, just a few steps from the cabin. Tucked among the trees and overlooking the water, it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking at all the nearby trails. Heating up the sauna, breathing in the scent of woodsmoke, and then stepping out into the cool night air—pure bliss.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a quiet place to write or reflect, or simply a break from the busy world, this cabin offers it all. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our next visit.

Simone and Andrew’s cabin was wonderful! We loved the feel of being alone in nature and the view. Oh my goodness! It was wonderful to see Lake Superior through the many windows that brought so much light into the place. The bed was so comfortable and it was so cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and they obviously thought of everything we could need. It was so close to the hiking nearby and to the beautiful town of Grand Marais. We highly recommend and plan to return.

This place was absolutely amazing! I would stay at any of Simone and Andrew’s listings, but this one was so special for my girlfriend and I, and the view!!!!…..you can’t beat it! They were very accommodating and understanding and also sell shorts to commemorate your stay!

My husband and I stayed at Tranquilo.
Our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter stayed at the larger cabin.

Agua Norte is a magical gem on the north shore. I have stayed in two of the homes now and they are so charming! The communication with the hosts is phenomenal and the sauna is MAGIC! I will be back again!
