My wife and I enjoyed a weekend stay at this cabin with a fantastic view of Lake Superior. The unit was spotless and felt private and secluded. I would highly recommend scheduling a sauna session.

Beautiful, romantic getaway spot for a couple. The other cabins were closer than I initially was anticipating, but the other guests were respectful and quiet. The sauna was a great bonus. Overall, a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful location and cabin! Everything felt very luxe, and we loved just hanging around the cabin when it was cold outside. We loved having Agua Norte as our home base during our hiking trip. Simone and Andrew were very proactive about communication and all the logistics were a breeze.

My fiancé and I enjoyed a nice week together here at Agua Norte. We enjoyed the Lake Superior view from outside the windows and appreciate how communicative Andrew & Simone were.

My son and I had a mini getaway and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! The space was everything we hoped for, and more, with thoughtful amenities, clear instructions, amazing views, and lots of hiking paths around the property. Whatever your excuse to spend a weekend in Grand Marias, Simone's place is the perfect place to nestle in. My son, a true eight-year-old adventurer, is set on staying here every time we visit!!

I had a wonderful time staying here!! I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Even though there were other cabins being used while I was here, it was very quiet and everyone kept to themselves. The space was also very clean and homey. I will definitely be coming back again! 🤍

We had a great experience!! Simone & Andrew were proactive in communication and helped us to feel prepared and informed for our stay.
The cabin was awesome, a perfect spot to enjoy views of Lake Superior, head into the town of Grand Marais, look for rocks on the shore, or drive further north to some awesome hikes and lookouts.
We highly recommend and would definitely come back again! :)

Clean, cozy, close to town, and beautiful views of the lake and wildlife! My partner and I had a wonderful experience staying in the Tranquilo cabin. My personal favorite part of the cabin was the gas fireplace that kept us warm during this chilly time of year. Would definitely recommend to other couples looking for a cozy getaway! The Tranquilo cabin was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway! The wood fire sauna was so relaxing and the views were incredible. We lost count of all the deer we saw!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL weekend. We lucked out and the skies cleared for gorgeous stars and northern lights!! We loved the views, and swing inside. The fish on the tile shower floor were the best touch. The sauna was also very very nice, be sure to check the reservations when you book your stay!
