Breathtaking view, beautiful cabin, enjoyed the sauna, wonderful hosts! We came for our 25th wedding anniversary and were truly blessed to stay at Tranquilo. We would love to make it an annual getaway. Thank you Simone and Andrew!

We had a fabulous time staying in the little Agua Norte Cabin! Grand Marais is itself beautiful, but having our winter stay here could not have been more perfect. By far my favorite place I’ve stayed on the north shore. Everything is so well maintained, well built, and just wonderful. The sauna is a must—it’s such a treat to be able to use a wood burning sauna with a view of Lake Superior.

Agua Norte Loft was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Loved all the windows, views and well furnished kitchen. The sauna is a must if you stay here. Welcome basket was thoughtful and Andrew and Simone communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited Agua Norte Loft in January to reset after a busy holiday season. This place was the perfect getaway! Stunning views of Lake Superior. The Loft was clean and had great aesthetic. We enjoyed a cozy weekend playing games, watching movies, and taking advantage of the sauna. I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend.

Gorgeous little get away! We love this area for all the hikes near by and cross country skiing. The cabin was exactly as the photos, beautiful and simple! We loved all the windows and the cozy fireplace. Sauna was also super enjoyable!

This location was absolutely stunning! The views of the lake greeted us every morning and we were even able to see the stars at night from the comfort of our bed. Will definitely be planning a trip back!

A beautiful, light-filled, timber frame cabin with spectacular views. The private surroundings, hiking trail, and sauna make you never want to leave the property. This place has everything you need for a relaxing stay in nature.

My friend and I had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and well appointed, the sauna was lovely and an adventure given the wood-burning heat, and the views were gorgeous. Hosts were very responsive and well rent from them again!

Andrew and Simone were wonderful to work with. They were extremely flexible on the front end when I had to modify my dates as well as when I had to make an adjustment on my check out. They were fast to respond to any questions I had before, during or even after my stay. Lastly, their place is amazing. The cabin itself had everything I needed and the property's location can't be beat. Looking to returning with the family in the spring.
